<figure class="image"><img src="https://www.asu.edu.om/img/Team/waleed.alharthy.png"></figure>On behalf our center, staff and students, welcome to the Center for Language and Foundation Studies.&nbsp;The Center for language and Foundation study is the academic heart of A’Sharqiyah University. Each year, the CLFS becomes a home for more than 1000 new students. The Center plays a pivotal role in A’Sharqiyah University’s trajectory of excellence, and it endeavors, over a period of one academic year, to equip General Foundation students (GFP) with English language, Mathematics &amp; IT skills that remain essential for continuation and successful completion of study at college level.&nbsp;CLFS offers 3 programs, namely English, Mathematics and Information Technology. In the English Program, the center offers English Language study at Pre-intermediate (level 1), Intermediate (Level 2), and Advanced (level 3). While in Mathematics and IT, the study in each program is offered at 2 levels.&nbsp;CLFS combines theory and practice, and courses often include intensive practical projects and assignments&nbsp;to ensure students have gained the required skills, knowledge, understanding and the ability to transfer and apply them in their college study and future careers. CLFS place a strong emphasis on all skills that pave the way for the students and seemed essential to their success in their academic journey.
