Mohammed Al Bahri

Associate Professors

I am presently working as an assistant professor in Physics at A'Sharqiyah University in Oman, College of Applied and Health Sciences. I worked in the Ministry of Education in Oman for around 20 years in Monitoring and evaluating student learning. I got my PhD degree from Sultan Qaboos University in Oman in 2018. I am working as a researcher in nanoscience magnetic materials, especially in magnetic nanowires and magnetic domain walls. I have around ten papers published in various Web of Science journals. I had been awarded the best presenter in ( ICMMM 2020) International Conference on Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, Spain, Barcelona, 17-18 August 2020. Furthermore, in September 2020, I got an award from the Science Father organization for my publication "Vortex domain wall dynamics in stepped magnetic nanowire with in-plane magnetic anisotropy", M. Al Bahri, J. Magn. Magn. Mater. 515 (Augest 2020) 167293. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jmmm.2020.167293, as the best-published research for 2020. I had been assigned different responsibilities in my current institution, like a chair of the learning and teaching committee, the chair of the community service committee, and a member of different committees at the university level and college level as well.

-        Awarded Certificate of Excellence among the top-50 academic researchers in Asia for 2022, December 2022.
