my current position is assistant professor of medical microbiology at department of medical laboratories sciences, Collage of Applied and Health Sciences, A'Sharqiyah University.
I have a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Khartoum in addition to MSs and BSs form Faculty of Medical Laboratories (Microbiology specialist).
I have been teaching and supervision for undergraduates and postgraduates over 12 years in different Sudanese universities. I have extensive experience in the field of developing postgraduate programs, as I was postgraduate coordinator for 4 years at faculty of medical laboratories sciences, Ibn Sina University, Khartoum, Sudan
Throughout my career, I have been working in infectious diseases and bacterial genetics. My research is in Anti-microbial resistance (AMR) gram negative bacteria, focusing on genetic and epidemiological characterization of hospital-acquired infections in a global health outlook. This is reflected in my publications where I reported diverse and unique epidemiology in bacterial pathogens
